Title:
Instituting Communality, Commoning the Institution?
The practice-based research project looks into the relations and tensions between the institutive, the radical, and the communal. It asks, How to resist that which subjugates us, without taking up their tools and thus becoming the power-in-question? How do we come together and build sustainable self-organised structures of art that would hold up against the world that negates us - without rigidifying into immobile institutions ourselves? How do these structures establish ‘us’ as communities, and open up their radical potentiality?
