Title:
Exhibiting Experiments: disrupting narratives through curatorial interventions

This PhD takes as a case study an on-going piece of research which aims to reveal the complexities of exhibiting a dress collection which was worn, owned and donated by white South Africans and which resides in a museum in South Africa. Confronting the Collection (working title) is a proposal for an exhibition which decolonises and unpacks the problematic histories held within this collection.
